The next morning I found Caleb in his birthday cake. I did what any good mother would do when she saw this.... I ran and got the camera... took a few cute pictures and then told him that this was a no no! I love this picture of Caleb being busted! It is the ...I wonder if I am getting a spanking look. ( We get that look often!)
As I said we have been very busy around here. The kids and I did VBS this past week. I taught the second grade class. We had a blast. Caleb was in the three and four year old group. He was only 3 years and one week old when VBS started. Needless to say he was the youngest three year old. He was all over the place. Each day when I checked him in, the worker would look at him and say, " Hey Caleb Pope... we couldn't forget you!" Now what really did that say? I think it really said, " Great, Caleb is back.... Let's find him his own worker."

Carson and Emily were in the baby room during VBS. They had a great time. Carson made quick friends with the workers and found a buddy in a older "grandpa like" man in his room. They played all morning and could be seen walking the halls of the church. As for Emily she was loved on for five days! She loved her first VBS!
Carson being caged in!
Emily learning about Jesus.
Sunday night was a family night to wrap up VBS. All the kids stood on the stage and sang songs that they learned during the week. ( Well... all but my kid.) Caleb stood there while the kids sang and just looked around checking everything out. He also sat on the stage, pulled up his shirt and yawned. I was such a proud momma. I took pictures and video of the entire thing.

Great pictures! Your kids are so cute.
Rachel you crack me up! I love the comment you left on my blog. Curly and crunchy-that's that way we loved our hair.
The broken leg is still one of my favorite memories from high school.
What a fun party!
It's amazing how quickly they grow up!
Very sweet, I love Carson sitting there with his ice cream all alone.
