My good friend Stephanie gave me one of the best mommy tips. I have used it with Caleb and Carson and it really works!Put Baby Orajel on small kid toothbrushes and freeze them in a ziploc bag. When your little one is teething.... just pull one out and let him/her gnaw away. It is cool, hard, and numbing! When your child is done...just wash the toothbrush and reapply Orajel and freeze for the next time. ( I keep 4 in the freezer... just in case.) Also, you can get the little cheap kid toothbrushes at the Dollar Store!
