Today my sweet baby boy Caleb turned 3! This is one of those days with very mixed emotions. I am happy and sad all at the same time. Three years ago today I became the mother to one of the most amazing little boys in the world. Caleb has been such a blessing to so many people. He is my Mr. Personality. I am so thankful to have him and love him more than words could ever say. Happy Birthday to my sweet Caleb!
We had a full day celebrating with Caleb. All week we have been talking about his birthday. So he knew when he woke up that today was the day! This morning I made him a #3 shaped pancake and he ate three pieces of bacon. Caleb opened a few gifts and was excited to get a new Gordon train... it is one of Thomas' friends... ( Carson took Caleb's other Gordon to Sunday School last week and lost it. All I heard this past week was how his friend in Sunday School took that silly train.) Needless to say Caleb REALLY loved getting a new Gorden!! We could of just have gotten him that $4 train and he would have been totally happy! After the boys got up from their nap we loaded up and went to Hugenot Park Beach for a family day. We like that beach because you can drive on the sand and park. We carry so much stuff for our three kids.... it is well worth the drive! We had a great time together. We built sand castles, played in the water and looked for shells. On our way out the tide had come in. Christian got the van stuck in the sand. My heart sank! I had three kids in the back. Emily was hungry the boys were tired and we were stuck! I jumped in the driver's seat and Christian had to push the van out of the sand. Praise God he did it.

Oops!
We finally got home tonight @ 9:30pm. This is big for us!! Our boys are usually in bed by 6:30pm. Anyway, when we got home we had a birthday cake for Caleb. I made it myself last night. It was a Thomas the Train cake. It looked a little funny... but Caleb loved it. Today was a memory making day. It was great! I am thankful for my sweet family! Here are a few pictures from today for your viewing pleasure. I hope you enjoy!
