Emily's doctor made rounds this morning. She told me that we have to wait until the spinal culture is 48 hours old to tell if there is any type of infection. If there is we will go from there. So we are here no matter what until Sunday afternoon. Emily also must be fever free for 24 hours before she will be released. Well... her temp was just taken. It was 102. So that would have to be her last fever today for us to go home tomorrow. Needless to say... it looks like Emily and I are stuck here until Monday....?? It has been a very long day/night so far. I know it will be fine. It is just very hard to see my new baby girl hooked up to all these wires.
Anyway... Thank you guys for praying for Emily and our family. If you remember please pray for my boys. I am sure it is hard for a 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old to be away from their mommy. I will update when we know more.

Hey there Tiffany. Thank you for thoughts and prayers. No, Emily is not in the ICU. She is on the 4th floor of Wolfsons. We just had her temp taken. It was NOT a fever!!! Praise God!
We are just hanging out here.... watching the cars pass by on the bridge.
Bless you guys! This has been an ordeal but I know it will be fine in the end. His faithfulness is new every morning.
It IS hard to see her with all those tubes in her! Poor thing. She's sleeping thru it, tho.
