Call us crazy.... we took our three small children to Sea World in Orlando yesterday. It all started earlier in the week when Christian's computer started acting crazy. Since his work is totally done on his laptop it needed to be fixed. Christian's cousin Patrick is really great on computers. He and his wife offered for us to come and stay at their house while the guys worked on the computer. So this computer fixing trip ended up being a small family vacation for us. It was wonderful. We loaded up the our minivan... ( 2 Suitcases, 1 cooler, 1 pack and play, 1 double stroller, 1 single stroller, 3 sizes of diapers/pullups, 1 case of wipes, sippy cups, bottles, formula, and plenty of snacks!) anyway... we put in a movie in the DVD player, gave the kids snacks and prayed they would make it to Orlando without too much fuss. The kids were perfect the entire ride down. ( Praise God!) Christian and Patrick worked on the computer Wednesday night until 3am. Caleb, Carson and Evan played wonderfully! Emily slept in her make shift pack and play.( A small piece of our luggage... See the picture! It was too funny!)
Thursday we went to Sea World. It was HOT! I mean really HOT! I was sweating in the line to get our tickets. In my mind I thought we were crazy for even trying to bring the kids. But we were there. We were there for the kids. So we did kids things. I tried not to complain! We saw an Elmo show, played in the water park, and Christian took Caleb on his first roller coaster. ( I will post that picture as soon as I get it scanned in.) We had a ton of fun. By 3pm our kids were done. Really done. With no nap they were just wanted to go. So... we left. We didn't even see 1/2 of Sea World. We are planning on going back soon to see the rest of the park. Here are some pictures of our trip.....
Christian, Caleb and Carson getting some relief from the heat!
Our Family... great picture huh... Emily and Carson screaming, my hair in a bun and all of us dripping in sweat!
We had a great time visiting with our family and spending time with our kids at Sea World. I would do it again in a second! These are memories worth making!! Thank you Patrick, Joli, and Evan for opening your home, helping Christian with his computer, and making memories with us. We will have to do it again soon!
